  • Ruler of the south and of winter, The Blue Tezcatlipoca represents war, primal instincts and the sun. He carries a shield and arrows, but his most powerful weapon is a deadly blue serpent. Also known as Huitzilopochtli, he guided the Aztecs to the spot in lake Texcoco where Mexico was founded.

    Inspired by the Nahua codexes, master illustrator G.M. Meave has elegantly reinterpreted the iconic deity.
